Job Summary
Conduct assessment activities for behavioral and mental health therapy services and design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for children with special needs and their families. Provide counseling services, facilitate psychoeducational workshops for staff and families, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including ABA, speech, and occupational therapy professionals. Complete clinical documentation, maintain accurate records of billable interactions, and assist with supervision of practicum students or interns as needed. Evening and weekend availability required.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling or Social Work from an accredited institution
- Active Michigan licensure as an LMSW or LPC
- Proficiency with EMR systems
- Knowledge of insurance documentation and therapy authorization requirements
- Strong communication, professionalism, and collaboration skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Evening and weekend availability
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
- Knowledge of autism spectrum disorder and related developmental needs
