Job Summary
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with Master’s-level education and state licensure (LPC/LPCC/LCPC/LCPCS/LPCC-S) seeking to launch or expand a private practice by joining Headway’s platform. Role focuses on credentialing to accept insurance, increasing client access to insured services, and leveraging Headway’s built-in EHR, scheduling, client messaging, and documentation tools. The platform promises fee stability via bi-weekly payments, access to major plans (Medicare Advantage/Medicaid), and opportunities for CEUs through Headway Academy. Must be fully licensed and have a valid NPI; opportunities to credential across multiple states and to see insured clients through the Headway network.
Required Qualifications
- Fully licensed Professional Counselor (Master’s level or above) with LPC, LPCC, LCPC, LCPCS, or LPCC-S licensure (state-accepted)
- Valid NPI number
- Malpractice insurance
- Willingness to launch or grow a private practice and start accepting insurance
- Credentialing in multiple states (free) within ~30 days
- Ability to work with insurance networks including Medicare Advantage and Medicaid
- Experience or ability to manage in-network client services and related administrative tasks
- Familiarity with Headway platform features (EHR, scheduling, client messaging, documentation, CEUs)
- Must be fully licensed as of application
