Job Summary
Licensed Professional Counselor to join Headway platform to launch or expand a private practice. Must be fully licensed (LPC, LPCC, LCPC, LCPCS, LPCC-S) with a valid NPI and malpractice insurance, and to start accepting insurance with ease. The role emphasizes credentialing across multiple states, in-network participation with major plans (including Medicare Advantage and Medicaid), and practicing with built-in EHR, scheduling, secure messaging, and documentation templates. Headway provides provider support, compliance resources, and bi-weekly payments, plus access to continuing education via Headway Academy. Applicants should be prepared to credential for free in multiple states and to grow a private practice by taking insured clients.
Required Qualifications
- Fully licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, LPCC, LCPC, LCPCS, LPCC-S) with valid NPI and malpractice insurance
- Master’s level or above
- Willing to launch or expand private practice and take insurance
- Credentialing for multiple states (free and possible within ~30 days) and in-network with plans including Medicare Advantage and Medicaid
- Cannot support mental health professionals that aren’t fully licensed
- Ability to work within Headway’s platform and processes for scheduling, documentation, and payments
