Job Summary
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a master’s level or higher, holding LPC/LPCC/LCPC/LCPCS/LPCC-S licensure and NPI; eligible to launch or grow a private practice by accepting insurance, credentialing across states, and leveraging Headway’s platform for in-network access, EHR tools, and bi-weekly payments. Responsibilities include building a practice that accepts insurance (Medicare Advantage/Medicaid), credentialing support, staying compliant, utilizing built-in scheduling and client messaging, using end-to-end documentation templates, and pursuing CEUs via Headway Academy to support ongoing professional development. Must be fully licensed to practice. Location: Santa Clara, CA on-site with Headway’s platform support for practice growth.
Required Qualifications
- Fully-licensed Professional Counselor with LPC, LPCC, LCPC, LCPCS, or LPCC-S licensure (state-accepted)
- valid NPI number
- malpractice insurance
- license to practice in master’s level or above
- ability to launch or expand private practice and accept insurance
- credentialing in multiple states (free, within 30 days)
