Job Summary
School-Based Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) provides on-campus mental health services including individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and risk assessments; collaborates with school staff, families and external providers to develop treatment plans, implement prevention programs, and connect families to community resources; maintains documentation and participates in performance improvement initiatives; supports SBHC activities and daily operations.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology or Social Work
- Active LPC licensure in the State of Louisiana
- 2 – 5 years’ experience, preferably with children/adolescents
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- Experience with electronic health records is preferable, preferably NextGen or similar EHS
- Excellent communication and crisis management skills
