Job Summary
As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, you will be responsible for maintaining patient confidentiality, interviewing, assessing, and diagnosing mental health conditions, and delivering high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy. You will work collaboratively with a healthcare team, consult and refer to other healthcare specialties, and attend organizational committees. Qualified candidates must have a Masters or Doctorate degree in counseling or a related field, be licensed as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Minnesota, and possess the ability to manage time and stress effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school in counseling or related field with a Masters or Doctorate degree
- Licensed as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor by the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy in Minnesota
- Must complete continuing education and professional development beyond formal education as outlined by certifying body
- BLS certification within 90 days of hire
- Ability to manage time and stress effectively and adapt to unpredictable situations within the patient care setting
- Ability to teach and counsel individuals, families, and groups
