Job Summary
Private Client Banker delivers and refers appropriate financial solutions to KeyBank's client base with a plan-based approach to financial advice, opens personal and business accounts, builds a referral pipeline, develops deep client relationships, and ensures compliance with policies. The role requires strong client-facing skills, prospecting, and collaboration with internal partners to provide tailored investment, insurance, and banking solutions, and may involve in-branch operations support and participation in morning huddles.
Required Qualifications
- Education High School Diploma , GED, or equivalent experience (required) or Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- Work Experience Experience in developing current and new customer relationships, achieving sales goals and building referral sources in insurance and investment products. (required)
- Foundational knowledge of sales and service techniques with clients, including tele-consulting, outside calling, prospecting and networking. (required)
- Interpersonal interaction skills and an ability to build rapport in matter of minutes is vital. (required)
- Demonstrated experience with influencing business partners and leveraging centers of influence, as this role will require significant influence of partners such as Key Investment Services, Mortgage and Business Banking sales professionals. (required)
