Job Summary
Review Integrated Assessment and Treatment Plans (IATP) for compliance with regulations, best practices, and medical necessity. Provide clinical feedback to clinicians, perform diagnostic assessments, and determine immediate treatment plan needs. Coordinate risk assessments, safety planning, and medical consultations where indicated. Deliver behavioral health therapy to individuals, families, and groups while completing required screening tools and documentation. Act as a liaison between the community and patient needs, coordinating with emergency response teams, primary care physicians, and managed-care entities. Supervise Carle Health clinicians and counseling students, participate in competency training, and prepare special reports. Maintain records adhering to TrilliumPlace, Joint Commission, Medicaid, and Illinois Department of Public Health policies.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA)
- LCPC
- LCSW
- LMFTE
- Master's Degree
- Two years of experience in a behavioral health setting
- Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to a range of client situations
- Ability to accurately assess and diagnose
- Ability to develop treatment plans and interventions with clients
- Interpersonal skills
- Professional attitude
- Understanding of ethical standards of behavioral healthcare
- Ability to interpret rules and regulations
- Good written and oral communication skills
