Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a physician, APP, or RN in a primary care setting. Responsible for patient education, medication administration, specimen collection, care coordination, and supporting efficient clinical workflows. Duties span Front Office, Back Office, and patient-centered activities including triage, vital signs, immunizations, venipuncture, CLIA-waived testing, wound care, EKGs, documentation in EMR, prior authorization coordination, referrals, and maintaining infection control and HIPAA compliance. Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and ability to travel to centers within the market are essential, along with proficiency with technology (Zoom, Microsoft Office) and a patient-service mindset. Minimum 2–5 years of outpatient/ambulatory or primary care nursing experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing Program
- Active, unrestricted Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
- Current Basic Life Support/AED Certification from an AHA-accredited provider
- Must maintain all continuing education requirements required by Florida Board of Nursing
- Child Clearance - Act 33
- Criminal Clearance - Act 38
- FBI Clearance - Act 73
