Job Summary
Provides basic nursing care for geriatric residents in a long-term care / rehab / assisted living setting. Administers medications and IV fluids (IV certification required). Documents assessments and communicates updates to the interdisciplinary team and residents’ families. Participates in care planning, updates the care plan as interventions change, and implements nursing interventions per the plan of care. Maintains safety and professionalism when handling crises, utilizes SBARR to notify physicians, supports QAPI-driven problem resolution, and assists with ADLs. Completes required continuing education and stays current with Bethesda policies. Night-shift, full-time role for a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Required Qualifications
- LPN license in the state of employment
- IV Certification
- CPR/AED Certification
