Job Summary
Provide licensed practical nursing care to seniors in long-term care and home nursing settings. Work with the Registered Nurse to perform a wide variety of resident care functions within scope of practice, code of ethics, and governing legislation, including leadership and supervision of the Continuing Care Attendant/Personal Care Worker. Responsibilities include assisting clients with personal care, transfers using lifts, administration of medication, nighttime monitoring, light housekeeping, basic blenderized food prep, community outings, and facilitation of community inclusion.
Required Qualifications
- Current Licensed (or eligible for license) with the Nova Scotia College of Nurses
