Job Summary
Assess patients, contribute to care planning, implement nursing interventions, monitor health status, and evaluate care outcomes within the Hemodialysis Unit at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Perform duties in accordance with professional standards, Vitalité Health Network policies, and your scope of practice while completing required hemodialysis certification programs. This permanent, full-time role requires rotating shifts of 8 or 12 hours and proficiency in French with spoken English. Eligible candidates receive a $25,000 recruitment incentive and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- recognized diploma in practical nursing
- member in good standing of a Canadian professional nursing association
- member in good standing, or eligible for registration, with the Association of New Brunswick Licensed Practical Nurses
- valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
- proficient in French
- able to communicate verbally in English
- able to work both independently and as part of a team
- physical ability to perform the work
- good performance and attendance record
- legally authorized to work in Canada and New Brunswick
- French is essential
- spoken English
