Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) needed to assist in directing nursing services on the unit under RN supervision. Responsibilities include delegating duties to nursing staff, monitoring performance, observing patients for changes, notifying attending physicians of emergencies, implementing orders as directed by physicians, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires NC LPN license, high school graduate, CPR certification, willingness to work as charge nurse and to cover emergencies to ensure adequate staffing. Familiarity with geriatric nursing and ability to provide quality patient care per doctors’ orders is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license from North Carolina Board of Nursing
- High school graduate
- CPR certified yearly
