Licensed Practical Nurse (Women's Health)

Job Summary
Prepare patients for appointments by obtaining vital signs, reviewing medical histories, and updating health records. Assist physicians and providers during examinations and office procedures, administering medications, injections, and treatments within the scope of Georgia LPN practice. Educate patients regarding medications, treatment plans, procedures, and follow-up care while collecting specimens and performing routine point-of-care testing. Maintain complete and accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and coordinate with front office and clinical staff to support efficient patient flow. Ensure examination rooms remain clean, organized, and properly stocked while following infection prevention guidelines, OSHA standards, and established clinical protocols. Perform additional clinical duties as needed to support the practice.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
- Current Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong patient assessment and clinical support skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced medical office while managing multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation
- Familiarity with medical terminology and routine clinical procedures
- Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the day
- Ability to assist patients with positioning or mobility when appropriate
- Ability to perform repetitive clinical tasks requiring frequent hand use
- Ability to lift or move patients and medical equipment while following safe patient handling practices
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively during urgent or emergency situations
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in an OB/GYN, women's health, or physician office setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
