Job Summary
Develop relationships with residents and their families while supporting their physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs. Communicate resident needs to doctors for medical assessments and supervise and motivate Caregivers and Medtechs. Maintain accurate records including nurses' notes, incident reports, 24-hour reports, and medication logs. Work 10A–630P shifts every other weekend. Required Qualifications
- A passion for helping seniors
- A desire to contribute to a positive atmosphere in the community for residents, family & friends, and all team members
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; both oral and written
- Ability to work every other weekend
- Ability to work effectively as a team
- Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical/Vocational Nursing Program
- Current licensure by the State Board of Nurse Examiners
Desired Qualifications
- Geriatric experience preferred but not mandatory
- Experience with electronic medical records preferred but not required
- Experience with dementia care preferred but not required
