Job Summary
Assess patients' clinical conditions, recognize serious situations, and take immediate actions to ensure patient safety. Formulate nursing diagnoses, administer prescribed medications and respiratory treatments, and operate specialized nursing equipment. Record observations, interventions, and treatment effectiveness while maintaining detailed accounts of activities with security personnel and EMTs. Manage patient information in accordance with HIPAA standards, utilize Microsoft Office tools for reports, and answer daily and emergency calls. Work clinic hours from 10:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional travel to outlying clinics in Maryland and Pennsylvania.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years minimum years of experience in a medical clinical or office setting
- Diploma of LPN or LVN, from and accredited National League of Nursing (NLN) approved program
- Basic Life Support certification
- Licensure in one of the 50 states
- Physical ability to perform assigned tasks, including lifting 50 pounds and standing and walking for extended periods
- Willingness to travel occasionally to outlined clinics in Maryland and Pennsylvania
- Knowledge of and compliance with OSHA rules and regulations
- Adherence to the policies, procedures, and by-laws of the on-site facility
- Ability to manage all patient information in accordance with HIPAA standards and the Privacy Act
- Compliance with FCC information technology system security policies
- Proficiency in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing English
- Ability to answer daily calls and emergency calls to the nurses suite
- Ability to wear a government-issued contractor identification badge during the performance of duties
