Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse to join Warrensburg Manor Care Center in Warrensburg, MO. Responsibilities include reviewing medical records to ensure accurate documentation, collaborating with healthcare providers to obtain information for coding and billing, conducting assessments and developing care plans, coordinating communication among healthcare team members, patients, and families, ensuring compliance with Medicare regulations and guidelines, performing utilization management to optimize patient care and resource allocation, and maintaining up-to-date patient records. On-site role in a long-term care/nursing home setting with a $10,000 sign-on bonus paid quarterly over 2 years. Comprehensive benefits include dental, health, vision, and PTO. Requires experience in healthcare, familiarity with Medicare regulations and ICD-9 coding, EHR proficiency, and on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Missouri
- Experience in healthcare setting
- Familiarity with Medicare regulations and ICD-9 coding systems
- Proficient in utilizing electronic health record systems (EHR)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- On-call rotation
- Ability to review medical records and assist with documentation review and coding/billing processes
- Experience in nursing home or long-term care settings is a plus
