Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse Unit Manager (LPN) in a full-time role leading the nursing team in a long-term care setting. Oversees staff on assigned shift, monitors medication distribution and patient care activities, conducts nursing rounds, provides staff and resident education, develops assessments and care plans, tracks treatments under HIPAA, and coordinates with physicians to ensure resident recovery. Requires NJ LPN license and at least 1 year of supervisory experience in long-term care; PCC proficiency and compliance with regulatory guidelines. Includes a 5k sign-on bonus, dayshift with weekend/on-call rotation, and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Practical Nurse License
- Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience in a long-term care setting
- Computer knowledge and experience using Point Click Care (PCC)
- Supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care
- Conduct nursing rounds on all units repeatedly throughout the shift
- Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure a smooth recovery process for residents
- Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines
