Job Summary
Provide direct resident care and supervise residents' needs per individualized service/care plans. Monitor residents for changes in condition and signs of illness, then communicate and document concerns to the Health Services Director. Assist in supervising the care team, administer medications and treatments per orders, and implement behavioral management interventions. Ensure resident privacy, maintain a safe environment, and report all suspected abuse or incidents immediately. Full-time and part-time shifts available with flexible scheduling. Competitive pay of $32.00–$33.00 per hour, full medical benefits, and 401K match for full-time staff. Requires an unencumbered LPN license with at least one year of assisted living experience and current CPR/First Aid certification.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license; a Compact license or the ability to obtain one is encouraged. An unencumbered LPN license is required.
- Minimum of at least one year of successful experience as a LPN in assisted living or long-term care
- Experience administering medication and treatment plans per doctor's orders and community policies
- Knowledge of state regulations pertaining to resident care and understanding the importance of being state survey ready, every day
- Have experience working as a mandatory reporter and can immediately intervene, report, and investigate all suspected or alleged verbal, physical, sexual abuse, or theft from a resident
- Have a current driver's license
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds occasionally, 30 pounds regularly
- Maintains appropriate and required license
- CPR/First Aid certification
