Job Summary
Administer medications and treatments, document accurately in EHR, and take vital signs to monitor resident condition. Assist with assessments, nursing calls, and incident reporting while providing personal care including bathing, dressing, feeding, and transferring residents. Collect lab samples, follow up on results, prepare food trays per prescribed diets, and maintain room cleanliness and safety. Respond to resident calls and support staff training as directed by the Health Care Coordinator. Work the 2nd shift (2:00 to 10:30 pm) at Jaybird Senior Living, complying with HIPAA and state regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing with the state
- Minimum six months caregiving experience
- preferably with elderly residents
- Strong interpersonal skills
- professional and compassionate
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- handle emotionally sensitive situations
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
