Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides basic therapeutic nursing care under the direction and supervision of the RN in a telemetry setting. Responsibilities include assisting the RN and healthcare team to deliver routine, standardized patient care with predictable outcomes, relying on education, training, and established guidelines. The role begins with guidance and instruction, developing toward working under general supervision as competencies grow. Shift hints include Day/Evening and Every Other Weekend rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse license (LPN)
- Telemetry nursing experience or familiarity with telemetry units preferred
- ability to provide basic therapeutic nursing care under RN supervision
