Job Summary
Direct nursing care for patients under the supervision of the Professional Nurse. Requires current State Nursing License and professional nursing knowledge from an accredited School of Nursing. Per Diem position may require specific scheduling commitments, including weekend shifts and holiday rotations. Preference for candidates with two years of nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current State Nursing License
- Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of an accredited School of Nursing.
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience is preferred but not required.
Additional Requirements
- Per Diem employees are not permitted to work in excess of 1,820 hours per calendar year.
- PD applicants requesting to work more than 24 hours per week must fulfill one weekend per month or two weekend shifts per month.
- Applicants seeking a traditional PD schedule must commit to a minimum of 4 hours per week, or an equivalent of 16 hours per month.
