Licensed Practical Nurse - Surgery

Contribute to patient assessment and ensure well-being by administering medications, observing for adverse reactions, and performing laboratory tests and therapeutic services. Educate patients and families on disease treatment plans, self-care post-discharge, and available resources. Document provider encounters, list diagnoses and symptoms, and transcribe patient orders including labs, radiology tests, and medications. Transcribe consultations and continuously check data availability to ensure providers can make treatment decisions. Maintain a constant state of alertness and safe manner while working day shifts from Monday to Friday. Requires Illinois or Compact State LPN licensure and BLS certification.
