Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Stepdown, Day shift, 36 hours/week at Mercy Hospital South in Saint Louis, MO. Provides patient care under supervision or with direction from a Registered Nurse, using the nursing process, and coordinates with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality. Responsibilities include professional accountability for patient care, contributing to care plans, ensuring safety and trended care, and supporting mission and standards. Requires Missouri LPN licensure, completion of an accredited practical nursing program, BLS certification, and LPN-IV certification; new graduates welcome. Sign-on bonus up to $2,000 for part-time and full-time caregivers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license in Missouri
- Meet all State Board of Nursing requirements
- LPN-IV Certification completed prior to hire or within 3 months
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- New graduates welcome
