Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Stepdown, Day shift, 36 hours/week at Mercy Hospital South. Provides patient care under the supervision of licensed personnel or a Registered Nurse, utilizing the nursing process, coordinating patient care with other departments, and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Requires Missouri LPN license, completion from an accredited practical nursing program, BLS, and LPN-IV certification per unit requirements. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license in Missouri
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- LPN-IV Certification completed before hire or within 3 months (up to 1 year depending on unit)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; frequent standing/walking; capacity for bending/stout tasks as per unit requirements
