Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Sono Bello in New Hyde Park, NY, supports patient care before, during, and after procedures, assists surgical teams, and ensures safety, compliance, and premium patient experience. Responsibilities include pre-op/post-op visits and procedures, patient education on perioperative care, intraoperative setup, documentation (HIPAA compliant), sterilization, postoperative discharge tasks, and administrative duties such as equipment management and scheduling. Requires graduation from an accredited program, current state licensure (or Active Compact License), ACLS certification, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health records. Preference for Post Op and/or OR Circulator experience with on‐the‐job training available. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and work in a fast-paced clinical environment. Full-time position with benefits; compensation range $26.64–$33.30/hour (annualized to $55,411–$69,264), with potential for location-based adjustments.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current state nursing licensure (Active license) or Active Compact License
- ACLS certification required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic health records
- Preference for Post Op and/or OR Circulator experience (not required, training provided)
