Job Summary
Direct daily nursing activities for residents and supervise certified nursing assistants in accordance with facility policies and federal, state, and local regulations. Administer medications, perform wound treatments, and conduct rounds to assess resident status while documenting changes and notifying physicians. Lead nursing personnel, initiate care plans, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care. Manage census changes, participate in management meetings, and respond to emergencies or complaints as required.
Required Qualifications
- A Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
- Current unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in practicing state.
- Current CPR certification.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in long-term care preferred but not required.
