Licensed Practical Nurse - SNF- Douglas

Direct daily nursing activities for residents and supervise certified nursing assistants in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. Administer medications, perform wound treatments, and transcribe physician orders while assessing resident status changes and notifying families. Provide direct care skills including colostomy changes, tube feedings, and IV administration, ensuring compliance with infection control principles and care plans. Conduct rounds to verify resident needs and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to address census changes or care concerns. Participate in management meetings, end-of-life care, and emergency drills while maintaining confidentiality and reporting any incidents or grievances.
