Job Summary
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while monitoring and documenting patients' vital signs and health status. Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and therapists to implement care plans, assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility, and ensure compliance with infection control and facility protocols. Respond to emergencies and provide timely interventions while maintaining accurate and timely medical records. This full-time contract role in Queens, NY requires an active New York State LPN license, Hepatitis B immunity, and at least two years of experience in a nursing home or hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program
- Active New York State LPN license
- Proof of Hepatitis B immunity
- At least two (2) years of experience in a nursing home or hospital setting
- Strong communication
- Adaptability to rotating shifts
- Teamwork
- Must work every other Saturday and Sunday
