Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse needed at Sevita’s Mentor Community Services to provide community-based nursing care in an Intermediate Care Facility. Responsibilities include monitoring health conditions, administering medications, supervising and overseeing staff who administer medications, providing physician-ordered medical treatment and personal care services, conducting assessments and implementing health care services in Individual Service Plans, training staff on precautions, infection control, and medication administration, and liaising with other medical and professional providers to coordinate care. Also provide training on self-medication, sex education/STD prevention, and smoking cessation. Full-time role with on-site work in Pensacola, FL; compensation to $26/hour plus benefits. 401(k), PTO, holiday pay, and opportunities for career development. Sevita is an equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing or related field, or state certificate
- One year of experience working with population served in a nursing capacity
- Current state LPN or LVN licensure for state of residence
- Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance
- Other certifications as required by state licensing regulations such as CPR/FA and HIV/AIDS certification, BBP, and ACT training
