Licensed Practical Nurse - Resident Care Facility - Part Time - Weekends

Provide professional nursing care, assessments, and evaluations to residents within your scope of practice. Develop nursing care plans by obtaining medical histories, establishing diagnoses, and defining interventions while reviewing physician prescriptions and communicating care objectives to the healthcare team. Deliver physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to residents, families, and friends to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers; direct nursing assistants and other personnel; and maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection-control policies, medication protocols, and stock management procedures. Maintain competence in nursing capabilities and uphold Avera's standards of communication, attitude, responsiveness, and engagement.
