Job Summary
Nurse Residency Program – LPN Resident in Acute Care (Medical Telemetry) at Blount Memorial Hospital. Under direct and indirect supervision of a Clinical Education Team and an overseeing licensed RN, the LPN Resident participates in the Nurse Residency Program, completes required clinical competencies and validation, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver patient care, document appropriately, provide discharge teaching, and escalate issues as needed while aligning with organizational standards and policies.
Required Qualifications
- Education - Completion of an LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing
- Holds a current LPN compact/multistate license recognized by the NCSBN Compact State or is licensed to practice as an LPN in the state the team member is working.
- If an LPN team member working in this position obtains RN licensure, Prisma Health will accept RN licensure for a limited time until the team member can be placed in an RN position.
