Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and skilled nursing procedures. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) while supervising nursing assistants and medication aides per facility policy. Monitor resident status, develop individualized care plans, and coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges. Complete accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality assurance activities and regulatory surveys. Requires an active LPN/LVN license, minimum one year of clinical experience, and familiarity with EHR systems. Located at a 176-bed facility in Terre Haute, IN, with a pay range up to $34.70/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Current, active LPN/LVN license in the state of practice
- Minimum one (1) year of clinical nursing experience
- Knowledge of Federal and State long-term care regulations
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and exercise sound clinical judgment
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Desired Qualifications
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Long-term care experience
- Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role
