Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and skilled nursing procedures. Assist with activities of daily living, supervise nursing assistants, and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Complete accurate clinical documentation, coordinate admissions and transfers, and participate in quality assurance activities and regulatory surveys. Monitor residents' physical and emotional status, notifying the physician of any changes. Requires current active LPN/LVN license, CPR/BLS certification, and minimum one year of clinical nursing experience. Up to USD $34.70/Hr.
Required Qualifications
- Current, active LPN/LVN license in the state of practice
- Minimum one (1) year of clinical nursing experience
- Knowledge of Federal and State long-term care regulations
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and exercise sound clinical judgment
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Desired Qualifications
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Long-term care experience
- Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role
