Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a mental health and substance abuse treatment facility providing direct patient care in Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and Residential services. Administer and monitor medications, conduct vital signs and patient assessments, provide medication education, assist in crisis intervention, and maintain EMR documentation. Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control protocols; assist with drug screenings, lab collections, and medication reconciliation; collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and case managers; may travel between treatment locations. Day shift 7am-7pm, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Based in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted LPN license in the state of Florida (required).
- CPR and First Aid certification (must be obtained upon hire if not already held).
- IV Certification (preferred but not required).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a medical, mental health, or substance abuse setting (preferred).
- Experience with IOP/PHP/Residential patients is a plus.
