Job Summary
AgeCare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) for Brandt's Creek Mews in Kelowna, BC. The role involves providing planned, patient-oriented nursing care, completing clinical assessments and care/service plans, documenting care, administering medications/treatments, coordinating with the inter-professional team, and supporting resident move-ins/transfers. Requires an LPN Diploma, current provincial registration, CPR certification, 3+ years of seniors’ health experience, and proficiency with computer MS Office; leadership/mentorship skills are valued. Rotating scheduling (3 on/2 off, 2 on/2 off, 2 on/3 off) with a focus on trust, respect, quality and teamwork within a unionized facility offering competitive pay ($32.84/hour) and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Practical Nurse Diploma
- Current registration and membership in good standing in applicable Province
- 3+ years of experience with seniors’ health
- Current CPR training
- Computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft office applications
- Demonstrates leadership, coaching and mentorship skills
