Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurses provide direct front line care in residential homes for adults with developmental disabilities and medical conditions. Responsibilities include preventative health care, teaching, monitoring and reporting on general health and wellness; record keeping; consulting in the development of Care Plans; and delivering direct care aligned with each Care Plan. Candidates should demonstrate strong assessment skills, prior experience with individuals with developmental disabilities, and the ability to coach and explain medical information and treatments to non-medical staff. Position offers rotating day or night shifts (3on/3off or 3on/4off patterns; 9am–9pm or 9pm–9am) across four available roles with hourly wages in CAD. Required Qualifications
- Completed post-secondary program in practical nursing
- Registered to practice in Alberta
- 2 years of directly related experience
- Acceptable Police Information Check & Child Intervention Record Check
