Job Summary
Provide care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse or physician, functioning within scope of license. Contribute to patient assessment and assure well-being by administering medications and observing for adverse reactions. Perform laboratory tests and therapeutic services while educating patients and families on disease treatment plans, self-care post-discharge, and available resources. This Licensed Practical Nurse role at Bartlesville Medical Park's Pulmonology department supports a full-time Monday-Friday 8am-5pm schedule within Ascension's nonprofit Catholic health system.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- OK or KS state licensure relevant to where the employee works
- Knowledge and skill in writing prescriptions for the Physician as needed
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience
