Job Summary
Provide direct patient care within your scope of practice, including administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and documenting care accurately. Work closely with RNs, CNAs, and facility staff while following all facility protocols. Maintain clear communication with facility leadership and the staffing team regarding shift acceptance, patient concerns, and assignment needs. Demonstrate reliability by showing up on time, prepared, and ready to work, including the ability to accept last-minute shifts as facilities rely on urgent coverage. This role is ideal for LPNs who value flexibility and are comfortable stepping into various settings, including LTACHs, hospitals, and behavioral health, when coverage is needed.
Required Qualifications
- Active and valid LPN license
- Current TB test
- Active CPR/BLS certification
- CPR/BLS must be instructor-led and in person (online-only courses are not accepted)
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Compassion for patients and dedication to quality care
- Ability to work PRN and accept last-minute shifts
- Consent to undergo background check
- Consent to participate in a drug screening test
- Accuracy of information provided during the application process
