LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (PRN)

Job Summary
Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans and provide nursing services for assigned residents. Perform daily duties including ordering medications, monitoring blood sugars, administering oxygen, and conducting nursing rounds. Coordinate admission, discharge, and transfers while supervising nursing and patient care records. Act as a team leader when requested and assist with patient transport, feeding, and linens. Confers with the nursing supervisor regarding care and treatment issues, reporting any emergencies to the proper department. Maintain and supervise maintenance of all related services as completed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid license as an LPN in state of practice
- Current Licensed L.P.N.
Desired Qualifications
- preferably with experience in long-term care of geriatric nursing
- Current CPR certification
- additional certification in nursing specialty
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
