Job Summary
Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the appropriate scope of practice while working under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical staff. Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs at Coastal State Prison in Port Wentworth, Georgia. Maintain active CPR certification and successfully obtain a security clearance including drug screening and criminal background check. Available for PRN shifts covering days, nights, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Appropriate and active certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
