Job Summary
Private Duty Nurse (LPN) to provide adult and pediatric nursing care in the patient’s own home. Implement the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) and communicate with physicians and multidisciplinary care team. Provide cares ranging from tracheostomy/ventilators to feeding tubes, wound care, and seizure management. Required Qualifications
- Valid license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Minnesota
- Ability to read, write and speak fluently in English
- Education and experience in the scope of services offered by the agency
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR through American Heart Association or Red Cross renewed at recommended frequencies
- Must be able to lift, turn, position, and transfer up to 50lbs
