Job Summary
Private Duty Nurse (LPN) needed to provide in-home nursing care for adult and pediatric patients. Responsibilities include implementing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementing, evaluating), communicating with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team, and delivering a range of care from tracheostomy and ventilator care to feeding tubes, wound care, and seizure management. Must hold a Minnesota LPN license, be fluent in English, have BLS CPR certification, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. 8-12 hour shifts are typical; benefits include health insurance reimbursement, 401k, CEU opportunities, paid time off, on-demand pay, and referral bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Minnesota LPN license
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Education and experience in scope of services offered by the agency
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross (renewed at recommended frequencies)
- Must be able to lift, turn, position, and transfer up to 50 lbs
