Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse opportunities in a telehealth and back-office setting for Veterans. This is a Full-Time, on-site role in Espanola, NM, Monday–Friday, 8am–4:30pm. Responsibilities include interviewing patients, taking vital signs, documenting in the EMR, obtaining medical histories, preparing and completing forms, administering medications, operating diagnostic equipment, assisting providers during examinations and treatments, performing ancillary tests (PFT, EKG, injections, audiograms, blood draws, etc.), collecting lab specimens, and completing clinical reminders. Requires HS Diploma/GED, completion of an accredited certificate program, and an active state nursing license; BLS certification and computer skills (MS Office) are also required. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Graduate of an accredited certificate program
- Current and active state Nursing License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association
- Knowledge of computer systems including MS Office Suite
