Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse provides nursing care to patients and/or significant others via direct and telephone contact, coordinating with the care team for seamless care delivery. Supports clinical procedures with physicians or providers and participates in patient teaching. Hem/Onc experience or at least 2 years in clinical/hospital practice preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing
- New York State license with current NYS registration, in good standing
- Preferred: minimum of one year experience as a licensed practical nurse or two years as a medical assistant in a pertinent practice area
- Current CPR/BLS certification
