Job Summary
Provide, implement, and monitor nursing care for post-surgical patients on a medical/surgical unit. Revise and execute patient care plans, perform patient teaching, discharge planning, and post-discharge needs. Demonstrate professionalism in maintaining clean, orderly environments and adhere to hospital policies. Must hold Tennessee nursing licensure, be a graduate of an approved nursing program, and obtain BLS within 90 days of hire. Requires ability to work up to 12-hour shifts, English proficiency, and the ability to lift/push/pull with defined limits; familiarity with Telemetry, Omnicell Medication System, and related equipment. The role involves independent and collaborative practice to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed by the State of Tennessee
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing
- BLS within 90 days of hire
