Licensed Practical Nurse

Conduct daily resident rounds, administer medications, and document care while supervising nursing assistants and restorative aides. Initiate corrective action for safety hazards, emergency situations, and resident problems, ensuring adequate staffing and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Count narcotics, manage emergency kits, and coordinate discharges and transfers with physicians and ancillary providers. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, education programs, and the employee evaluation process for nursing staff. Maintain licensure through continuing education and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality.
