Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) needed to assist in directing nursing services on the unit under RN supervision. Duties include delegating tasks to professional and non-professional nursing staff, monitoring performance, observing patients for signs of adverse change, notifying the attending physician in emergencies, implementing physician orders, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires LPN license (NC), high school graduate, CPR certification, and a genuine interest in geriatric nursing. Willingness to work as charge nurse and to provide coverage during emergencies. Required Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license from an accredited School of Nursing
