Licensed Practical Nurse - Physician Practices

Job Summary
Collect patient history, reason for visit, and diagnostic data; complete physical exams, observation, and telephone triage. Track and log laboratory and diagnostic tests while presenting results to providers. Assist with procedures, examinations, and instrument clean-up; coordinate internal and external appointments based on medical needs and practice schedules. Educate patients on current materials, manage prescription refills, and handle referral authorizations. Intervene to prevent or correct patient risks based on physiological, behavioral, and environmental observations. Requires a Technical School Diploma or LPN Program, BLS certification, and ability to control violent situations. Day shift (0800-1630) onsite in Allentown.
Required Qualifications
- Technical School Diploma LPN Program
- Ability to establish and maintain control of violent patients or dangerous situations
