Job Summary
Provide direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements. Collaborate with the healthcare team under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to maintain safety, provide patient comfort, and improve the overall patient experience in the MST setting. Maintain current BLS certification and obtain IV and Blood Withdrawal certifications within 90 days of hire. This part-time night shift role at Saint Joseph Hospital - Elgin supports the physical rehab unit.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- IV certification
- Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification
- Current BLS certificate
